Live at End of the Road Festival Sept. 1st 2012.

Well I’m back home again. I had a great time traveling in the UK. After three visits I feel like I’m only now understanding the lay of the land. I got to play in a couple new cities; I went to one of the oldest pubs in all of Yorkshire in the one time capital city of York, while Nottingham was my favorite show of the tour. The festival was amazing as expected. Played to the biggest audience I think I ever have. Got to see some great sets by Beach House, Roy Harper, Patti Smith, Richard Buckner, The Dirty Three, and Robyn Hitchcock and drank a couple tons of Ale. Met some new friends on the road and even managed to come home with money in my bag.
It’s September 11th today. A pretty memorable date if there ever was one. It also marks the anniversary of my move to New York City. It’s been 10 years to the day! Have to say that every time I leave this city I’m always happy to be back. Here’s to 10 more!
