UK Festivals and Blue Vinyl
The second pressing of the Blue Rider vinyl is here and it’s on beautiful BLUE vinyl! For a limited time you can purchase the package deal that includes the blue vinyl edition as well as the very limited Low Light Roughs cassette tape. On the tour front we’re heading out to the UK this week for a handful of gigs, including appearances at GREEN MAN and END OF THE ROAD FESTIVAL. Check out the schedule.
European Tour 2014
I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be venturing across the pond for a 5 week European tour starting next week. For this tour we’ll be playing cities in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland. Read on to view the complete tour schedule.

Blue Rider
Wow what a week! My new record Blue Rider has been out since Tuesday and already the reviews have been rolling in. Thanks to everyone that’s ordered the record, they should arriving at your doorstep no later than tomorrow. Also thanks to everyone that made the record release show at Union Pool such a success. It was a great night!
Pitchfork track review!
Pitchfork premiered my song “Wayward Son” last week. It sure was a nice thing to wake up to. Thanks to everyone for playing and sharing it! I just approved the test pressings, so Pre-Orders will be up as early as next week! Save the date: September 24th is Blue Rider release day!
Down the Highway: Crystal Stilts Tour!
I’m beyond psyched to announce I’ll be hitting the road this October with my good pals CRYSTAL STILTS! I’ll be supporting them for all of their US dates starting October 7th. Not only that but I’ll be the unofficial 6th member of CS as I’ll be playing lead guitar with them!

Spin Magazine premiered a song from my new record Blue Rider recently! The album will be released in the US on September 24th via All Hands Electric and even earlier in Europe on September 9th via JellyFant!!!

Summer waiting in the Wings: June 1st @ Union Pool w/ Jessica Pratt
Pleased to announce I’ll be supporting San Francisco songstress Jessica Pratt this coming Friday at Union Pool. This is the first of a string shows I’ll be playing in June including a spot on The North Side Festival in Williamsburg, a full band show supporting O’ Death at The Bellhouse later in the month and some mid Summer west coast dates to be announced shortly. Now that Spring is here I’m starting to get the touring bug. Been holed up at the All Hands House rehearsing new material with The Rain Band as of late, and think we’re ready to show you some bright new things.
